Cafe of Encounters

The Café of Encounters takes place every first Monday of the month starting at 4pm im Alois-Gemmecke-Haus, Hauptstraße 51 in Holzwickede. All refugees and residents of Holzwicke are invited to join.

In a pleasant atmosphere we aim to connect people of different nationalities, foster talks and encourage encounters between cultures – all of that whilst having coffee and eating some (usually homemade) cake. You are free to join us at the Café of Encounters regardless of age or language skills. Communication always works if you have an open mind and heart.

We would love if you contribute a homemade cake. Simply let us know, when you would like to contribute your cake. We would also be happy, to welcome you as a new Café-Team-Member.
